Alright so looks like ill be fixing a 360 for a friend, and i figure if its open, flash it

the real question IS,
1what will flashing it enable me to do?
2also, is there anyway to backup games onto the 360 hdd yet?
3basically is there anyway to have an xbox 360 modded like an xbox1, with dashes and apps and all that good stuff?

1. Play backed up burned games, plus i recommend installing a ghost firmware so XBL won't detect it when playing backed up games online Grin

2. Nope, not yet or probably never

3. Their are some apps but not any COOL ones

well thats too bad, i might still flash it cuase its pretty simple but idk, not much worth it i guess

PS you can now play backed up games via a softmod on your Wii via the homebrew channel (basically a channel to do the twilight princess hack without having to do the hack everytime) i know it sbeen around for a while and everything, i only mention it cuase they almost have the usb harddrive thing running!!! so you can backup games, w00t!
and BTW you can play wii isos from the sd card with that now

Twilight hack
Homebrew channel

both walkthroughs, im sure you can figure it out between them
works great BTW

EDIT: ohh and i havent tried an SD backup game, i just heard about it working, the big downside is the game needs to be under 2gb (which there are a few) cause wii only supports sd up to 2gb
burning disc works great however
