ok so there have been some questions as to how to set up a drive over 500gb or even over 320gb
ill write what i know from what i have learned

the size a partition can support is (xxk=cluster size)

xxk x 16 = xgb

so

8k x 16 = 128gb
16k x 16 = 256gb, thats the maximum partition size
32k x 16 = 512gb, thats the maximum partition size
64k x 16 = 1024gb per partition

64k hasnt been accomplished yet, people are working on it

however, the down side to higher cluster sizes is..

Basically 64k clusters just means that that is the smallest possible file size, i.e. a 1kb file would take 64k of space and a 63k file would take 64k of space. However, all files above 64k take up the space that they actually are.

so the smaller the cluster size, the less wasted space
so looking at the table above, you can determine the best cluster size for your hdd

32k is fine for a 500gb hdd
for a 750gb, you will have to split it into 2 partitions, at least until they come out with 64k cluster

XBpartitioner is the program you will need to use, and i have put it in our file section, grab it there

i will write a guide for this later
