three light of death?

umm so my 360 just recently got the ring of death and i've tried the towel trick multiple times and it'll work after it cools down from it for all about 3 min thats it.soo is there any other way to solve this problem? and i have a fan blowing on it too yet nothing i still get the ring of death.i've had my 360 for about two years and we've never had any problems up until now.
