Need Help modding Xbox with Krayzie UXE or Ndure, and MechAssault

Newbie here, I would like to ask for help modding my Xbox. I just bought MechAssault and the dvd label says its a X08-82246, which I read is an original and should work. I'm stuck on the step where I try to run the game save. When I choose compaign, I get Run Linux & MechAssault as options.  Run Linux has settings as Control: Unknown, Diff: Unknown, and so on....When I choose it, it won't run. I read some where to delete all games saves and try again....I have done that several times and it still doesn't work. Any help would be greatly apperciated..

? who told you that number would work ?

maybe a link we can see to make sure.

and if the version does work make sure your checking the CD numbers and not the Case numbers.

thanks for the replay...so here goes...I googled mechassault and the numbers and here are some of the sites that say it does work.

And I found the number on the CD ArtWork, and not the case?

I download the files from xbins, cuz most tutorials recommended it....It was a pain though always gettting timeout during the ftp session. I'll download them from this site from now on, though..... 

 I think mine is MS02308L, so that explains why it doesn't work. Oh well, I guess I'm gonna have to spend another weekend driving all around town looking for another game.

i recently just bough a Fresh NEW copy of Splinter Cell for $3 at GameStop, wasn't a bad deal. Maybe you should try Splinter Cell

nay go mechassault it works better less complicated and i have had a save work on the platinum hits mechassault  which i thought was bs but who knows

there are OLD version platinum hits  for ALL Games that work BUT they are even Harder to come by

And really  all 3 of the games are Easy to use
(only a Brain Dead person with half a Brain would think any one of them are Hard)
