Alright fellas just got my ps3. Fill me in with news i am a complete noob. what type of homebrew, any emulators etc? Any info would be great

all emulators that work on ppc linux distros work on ps3, just install yellow dog linux and go to town. there is no real mods for the ps3 yet.

Yea No luck in the Modding with PS3 yet =( Owell They still got some Nice Games and BlueRay

ydl linux is also available and is made for ps3, it is as easy as downloading the iso, burning it, and popping it in and going to other os on the ps3 and install it.

I have Not tryed the Other linux are they any better with useing the CPU or GPU of the PS3 ?

i know ydl linux only uses like 20% power of the CPU

hey ps3 with windows seen it runs like crap you have to set up a dual boot on the same partition with linux and xp ive seen it but really thats all i know on how to do it

they can only use cpu, the gpu is blocked in other os.
