It is with much regret that I inform all Soft Mod Depot patrons that our website, www.smdepot.net, has been flagged for copyright violation and is ordered to be shut down in 48 hrs.

I cannot do anything to overturn this decision and it is with a heavy heart that I comply. Tonight at midnight Pacific time, I will be shutting down www.smdepot.net for good and removing all files and hosted elements.

I have been slapped with a fine of $348,993.00 for 'Damages incurred due to inappropriately hosted content and materials...'

I want to give my thanks and gratitude for everyone who's made this place what it is and who has contributed in anyway.

Big Thanks to ZZK, Boost, Snafu, Yachi, Fweega , and everyone else who has helped. I hope we can continue to keep in touch. I view you all as friends now.

Thanks again guys, I'm sorry it's come to this.

Wow. well we will all stay in touch. This site has been a big part of my life the past couple years. We will still have the IRC channel though correct? I cant believe this is happening...
