and i cant get it to stop like its making a weird sound and the screen is flickering i don't know what model it is because my boss from work gave it to me,all i know is its a KDS LCD monitor and its A 22" it was made in 2006 so its not that old,the flickering stops for about 1 min when i turn it off then on but after that it starts to flicker again. can anyone help of give me an idea of what is happening?



oh and here is something new after a few minutes of it flickering it looses signal until i turn it off and on again

my work KDS does this as well

1 check the connection

lol i'll skip #2 lol yeah i think imma go on the roof and throw it off and watch it bust into many pieces lol and i've done #1 as well i've even taken it apart to clean it but there was pretty much nothing to clean because there was almost no dirt in it.could it be doing it because its over heating? because this thing has ne vents it only has them on the top and bottom

have you tried changing res and refresh rates? my tv flickers my screen at some res.

as far as i remeber the 22" only supports 60 as the refresh rate

and it would do it constanly if it was the refresh, not after a few minutes

yeah my Refresh Rate is only 60  Cry but i cut a square box out in the back and installed an xbox fan and it seems to be taking longer for it to start flickering so i think it is an over heating problem

 Cry unfortunately i did try that and no good results Undecided i cant think of anything else except that somebody may have spilled something in it but i don't see any signs of rusting or anything.That and the electrical components are completely sealed off inside like the boards inside this monitor are so small both of them put together equal the size of a dvd case or a mouse pad.
