I noticed that after I softmodded my xbox, it sais that the E: drive had 4,300+ MB space. There's suppose to be 8 right? Well, when I FTP'd to transfer my Daphne files, I saw the C and E folders, and then 3 other drives with 760+Mb space each. Can I get rid of them so I can use the full 8 GB on my E: Drive? If so, how?

no
XYZ drives are for cache files in games (need them to function)
C drive is i wanna say1.7gb, obviously you have to keep that
so average drive space is about 4300mb E: drive for a normal xbox

If you have a slim Seagate drive, you can format the F partition for 2 extra gigs. The latest version of UnleashX will display it with a zero next to it if you have one. Just press the white button and click "Format."
This only works for the newer, slim seagate drives though. Installing a new HDD isn't hard if you're worried about running out of space.

microsoft just wanted to keep all the xboxs uniform so they limited it to 8gb

SMD built a little Linux server or something like that, with all his old HDD from the xboxs he had left over. |
