As the Home Page has Stated BLU-RAY WINS !!! From day 1 i told everyone to get a Blu-ray payer and NOT HD-DVD Or at best get a HD-DVD/Blu-Ray Payer From the Day 360 Fucked up and did not Set HD-DVD on the Xbox360 and just made you get a Addon for 200$ I knowen then and there it was Not going to Sell Nore Win Over Blu-Ray Maybe if MS would have Set HD-DVD on the 360 and Made HD-DVD games Then and ONLY then "they MAY have had a fighting chance" BUT anyway It's OVER so now everyone can Stop asking Whitch to BUY. I do fill Sorry for all the HD-DVD Payer Buyers And Just Hope you can return it Befor it's To late

I know you can use ps3 for dumping disc, I dont know about pc. blu-ray burners have been out for a while now though. I still say your best bet if you want a player is to get a ps3. because un-like other players, it can be upgraded to allow the new features of the movies. for instance, people who bought the first gen players, cant use the new features that are in new disc.

i know, but we are talking BluRay and there is a point where software exceeds hardware, and these players literally arent capable of accessing new features

company's rarely make it possible to update players. they do have updates for most pc drives, but standalones, they practically never do unless it is a very high end model.
