The greatest beat making program for me was eJAY HipHop software, for of course HipHop, but its really wat your into that matters  Grin

And i dont have to tell you about Atomixmp3 and VirtualDj cause you all ready have them, well at least VirtualDj from what see Wink Grin

And for recording and MIDI interface and that good crap use Cakewalk

besides that i use Guitar Pro (sorry no link, its pay software.....kinda like cakewalk.....)

hit fruity loops up it's prolly the easiest to do with a learning level.
when you get into it you can pick up more advanced beats and move on to sampling other sounds into it.

over all I think it's one of the best beat making programs, withotu have a ton of samples..... which I do but mainly for Reason.

I keep Fruity Loops kinda simple, I usually make my beats out of a few different beats I make and end up blending them into something like this.
