downloading torrents

i was trying to download games from gamestorrents.com . i downloaded them ok, copied them on the games folder of the memory stick, tryied to open it but it had it as a "corrupted file" so it couldn't be copied. please answer, must something be done before copy to the stick or anything else?

and also depends on the prog ur using snafu waS  determined to tell you "X":\iso that you had a custom firmware .... mabey he doesnt it all depends on what program "homebrewn application you are using,.

it was straight psp games on rar format. and tell me also about firmaware too. i don't know much

you extracted the .rar with winrar or winAce then in there it should be a .iso you place in the ISO folder IF you have a CFW  =)

hey mates you should had understood by now that i recently bought a psp so show some remorse.  first, there's no iso folder on my stick. should i create one and place my extracted rar files (now in iso format) there? and if so how do i open them, via the web browser?

no what i want you to do mate is go to your settings and go to system settings then system info *correct me if im wrong* and tell me what firmware  you have

Yuper' sounds like you Sony Frame Ware (SFW) and not Custom Frame Ware (CFW). Like Ricochet said check your system settings

then your system info

and let us know wat System Software/Frameware you have it should look something like this but your numbers will be different

PSP hacking 101
Frist to understand PSP hacking you must understand that you can't hack it unless you have a PSP frimware version 1.50 or 1.00 but everyone uses 1.50.
A modchip makes it so that you can put a Custom frimware without haveing to have a v1.50.

OK now that we understand what we Need  Here is What you can Do
Frist if you have psp version 2.00-3.XX you can downgrade the PSP to a 1.50
-2.00 Does Not need GTA UMD (Unpatched)
-2.71 Does Not Need GTA UMD (Unpatched)
-3.03 DOES Need GTA UMD (Unpatched)
-3.50 DOES Need Lumines (Unpatched)

I think the 2.80 DownGrader Does Not Need a GTA UMD But i Have Not Tested it
there is a 2.50/2.60  downgrader But you need GTA UMD  and seeing that theres a 2.71 downgrader that does not need the GTA UMD then there really is no Need for the 2.50/2.60 downgrader.

Theirs also a new way to downgrade 3.50 FW users using a game called Lumines (unpatched) along with the exploit game save that you download when you wanna downgrade.

if you have a TA-079 or TA-086  i know you can downgrade from 2.80 to 2.71 But i am not Sure if you can go anylower then that (i don't Know)
I think with a TA-079 or TA-086 your more or Less "s**t Out OF Luck" (for Now)
(Do Not Try and Use a Downgrader on the TA-079 or TA-086 Unless it tells you that you Can)

i have psp slim n' lite with 3.60 frameware. where can i find something to downgrade to 1,50.? oh and something else i haven't found anywhere. am i gonna lose anything like the internet browser for example?

Only way you can downgrade a 3.60 is if you use Pandora's battery  BUT.. you need a 1.50 or CFW to install pandora's battery.

For now only 3.50 and lower can be downgraded Without pandora's battery.

hey snipes does that downgrader program really work all by it self? ive got a 2.81 old psp and i want to d.grade it to 1.5. how do i do that? for the longest time now i thought i needed GTA LCS. let me know. thanks.
