What you Can Do is Softmod the New Xbox Get the New eeprom
or
just get the eeprom and don't softmod  Both work fine

Now do a Hotswap with the Old HDD in the New Xbox and get the eeprom off it

Now just use XboxHDm to Unlock the HDD with the Old eeprom then Relock it with the New eeprom

Ummm no its on the motherboard, but when you start softmoding your xbox; it will get that eeprom off your xbox on to the HD so you can get it out, and place it safely on your PC Cheesy

Its usually in the E:\backups\ folder
