I have two xboxs with problems: one the drive keeps opening on it's own and the other one it doesnt boot up just has the xbox symbol.
Is there a way to fix any of these problems.
thanks in advance

dam thats weird?............ is the second one modded? cause if it is you could use the eeprom.bin to fix the HD and see if that was the problem, o and dose it go in to any error code?

haha, take the DVD drive out of the non-booting Xbox, and put it in the xbox with the messed up DVD drive. If that don't fix it, its a wire problem, something shorted out.

well since it doesnt matter, ill give my 2 cents

the one that stays on the xbox (i assume is unmodded) cant unlock the harddrive, but doesnt give the error message i have had this happen several times
