dvd drive

I have an xbox with a dvd problem. It's not modded, but every game i put in, I get an error message saying "Your xbox can't recgnize this disk. Make sure its an xbox game, dvd movie, or audio cd. Also check to see if the disc is dirty or damaged. Remove the disc to continue"

Is there a way to fix that problem, or do I need to buy another dvd drive. I think its a thomson drive

Yup  dude thats probably your problem then, cause i have the same problem with my thomson drive i donsn't play my cd-r or any other cd-r/dvd-r....my suggestion is get a Samsung

try clean the laser with rubbing alcohol, but make shure you clean it all off after.

you shud use cotton but i used my tounge
