it seems two people needing help on their xbox errors are having trouble booting the damn xbox hdm cd

i myself can't boot the cd.

I wanna ask...how do you burn the image to the cd?
because I used Nero and it doesn't work!

When I go to My Computer→DVD/CD Drive→Linux image
that is what I see.
How can that boot to xbox hdm?

does the xbox hdd (when unlock) actually allow the pc to boot the cd?
can I boot to xbox hdm without the xbox hdd hotswapp?

1.Ok first you need a program called PowerISO google it and use it.
2. The cd boots when you reboot your computer with the CD in the CD drive, and how ever your computer bios works chose boot "cd drive" at least that what mine says when i wanna use it. What model computer do you have ex.dell, Compaq ect.
3. It dosent matter if the HDD if its locked or unlocked, Xboxhd boots ether way just make sure you have the eeprom.bin in a floppy or on that CD.....

i use Nero to burn my XboxHDm  every time =) works  fine

i got a nero oem disc with my dvd burner and its got like every nero product and i cant use any of them

i used Nero Burning rom..or the express one
it didn't work!
I chose ISO...didn't work
even I took another cd,,,and used an udf/iso....didn't work as well

also I i burnt another one...it was nero bootable iso. still doesn't work. but the cd does boot, some stuff comes up like "oaktree.."

you are burning it right if you "burn image to disc".
the next thing you have to do is, change your bios settings whwn your PC boots up.
the boot sequence should be 1-CDROM , 2-Harddrive
make it look for your CDROM first, after all that put in the xboxhdm cd you made and restart the PC
