ok well my cousin had a softmodded xbox and then he went to the ms dashboard changed some settings and now when he tries to turn on his box it freezes at the X logo he desn't have the eeprom or anything so how can he fix it p.s it doesn't load DVD

Try hotswapping I had a problem like that and it worked out. Zzk had made a video and a tutorial which shows how to fix that problem.
