Ok, as most of you know, I am trying to fix an xbxo. it gets error 21. I've tried everything I can think of. All I need to do is access the HDD. I've tried xplorer 360, boot discs, FTP-ing. And I haven't tried hot-swapping yet. Any suggestions?

yes it was siftmodded. That's the problem. The dashboard folder was renamed to dashboard2. The eeprom.bin is on the xbox HDD partition E:, but I can't access it. Installer cd 3.0? Where would I get that? It's not in the files.

ok, the installer cd didn't work. I got the eeprom, but xboxhdm won't work. It keeps saying no primary HDD is found. The only things I have connected are the DVD-RW drive and HDD. Everything is set up right. I need help! Oh, and another thing completely unrelated. My computer's HDD was wiped out recently and lost all my modding apps for halo2 and my tutorials I saved. How do you make racetracks on containment and what files do you need?

I know this might be obvious, but i think it's worth pointing out, considering the circumstances.... When u plug in the HDD into ur computer... make sure u plug in the power cable for the HDD also. I just thought I'd point that out since it could be y ur computer couldn't detect the HDD.

Also, you should go into ur BIOS and set Primary Master from "Auto" to "User" if u didn't do that already....

for me the Auto User thing never mattered

just make sure that (the power is plugged in, lol) and the HDD in on primary
you comp is set to boot to CD not to harddrive
it should pull up XboxHDM and from there its cake
