hey everyone, ive got like 8 cd players, and i guess they all dont work, so whatever. i was checkin online to see what i could do with the motor and the laser, but i couldnt find any hacks involving the CD player. well not any good ones, most of them called for a CD rom drive. i currently like my CD rom drive IN my pc, although that might change in the future. but for now i wanna know if any of u know any cool hacks using CD player pars. let me know. thanks.

the built in speaker sounds pretty cool, ill try that with some small speakers ive got. but im not sure about using the hard drive... that might require too large of a power supply.

you hook the headphine wires up to the arm of the hard drive. cant rly tell you where cuz i dont know if all hard drive arms are the same, and ive never done it before, but ive seen many people do it before.

should work with either, all your doing is hooking up to the arm.ive seen vids with people using antique hard drives that are like for7" drives, then a normal hard drive, then a laptop hard drive, each one acting as a seperate speaker.

you shouldnt. most of the power of a hard drive is needed to spin the disc, and you wont be using the disc.
