what i am saying is you can encode a mp3 to the sound format of the Games Muisc files and just name them the Same and Place your songs in there and where you play the game it will play your song

kind of easy kind of hard =)

Ohhh nice i would have never thought of that, but thats suck though cause if you rename them then you going hear "I like that" when the song you changed it with is "Lean Back" you know what i mean Wink

no way!
when you are copying a song to the xbox, it converts it to some dumb format, ccdi some similar name like that.
Some times when ypu play a song, it sounds ok on your mp3, pc and cd player. but on the xbox it jumps/cuts. For an example, Halo 1 theme, that jumps:/

and I don't think you can add mp3 music, it automatically changes to the xbox readable format. I tried converting my Halo 2 album which were mp3 on pc.

Or maybe with an softmodded or modded xbox you can copy/send a music file to the xbox as an mp3

not saying from Xbox format to Mp3 format

And Not all games use the Same format Thats why you can play the stored Muisc on every Game

i have done this many times over on alot of games setting up my own song on Xbox Games
it's just the matter of getting a program to convert the Mp3 to the Audio format that the Games Supports then just change the Name to the Name of the song

(AKA)

02-fort_minor-remember_the_name_(feat._styles_of_beyond).mp3 convert to like
02-fort_minor-remember_the_name_(feat._styles_of_beyond).mmp or (whatever the format)

then rename and place

Say the Xbox games song for the track of the title is
kickingitlikeme.mmp  then you change
02-fort_minor-remember_the_name_(feat._styles_of_beyond).mmp
to
kickingitlikeme.mmp

Very easy to do Just Can be hard for some ppl

I had thought of doing that but i didnt think it would work 2 well. Could u point me to a good prog for converting mp3 to the right format, and does the length, size etc of the song matter?
