Been a while but Im back

hey crew, its been awhile; but any who... I have a 360 now yay! but I am playing crackdown online and I get a horrible LAG when i play with some one who is in another state. Though when I play with a buddy next door the lag is there but not as (and I mean no where close) bad as when playing another state. Any suggestions how to fix this?

Is it just one particular friend who has the slow issue? or everyone you play on live?

well playingonline, theres always going to be a little lag, and some games dont like basic dsl, becuase basic dsl isnt always fast enough. if your ona home network, make sure no computers have limewire, or torrent apps, or anything like that running.

it happens to a lot of the folks I play online. Did some "trouble shooting" and those I play that have close to the same connection speed as I do we don't experience the lag nearly as bad. Those who run a faster connection than I do is when i notice such a drastic change. I think you are right  Snafupossum and Yachi, just need a better connection.

it could also be, the fact that the host is makeing it lagg. on halo 2 thats how they make u blue screen.

Yachi = ego..  j/k... possible the host is the problem, though when I rally H2 or the other games the lag is not as bad, but oh well. It is time I get a new ISP any way. paying way to much $...
