could you just take off some of the rubber insulation then solder the wire from the power button  or do you mean cut the yellow then solder the wire to half of the yellow going to controller

i think i nearly understood there...

its easier to add an extra bit of wire just tape everything/use flux/clean your tips

Boss man (dad) will be happy about this one. Now all i need is to have a restet button to my  wireless xbxo router. So that way i dont have to walk over there everytime he needs to play some xbox live. Well thanks yachi for the tut. I sure will do it. Or try something else.

no it wudnt. cos they stay down and we only need a small signal to go threw the yellow/ground.


i find a lot of these in rc car controllers. or if you find a broken xbox controller the thumb clicks are those kind of buttons.

i found that kind of button in one of my old controllers, but how do i get it off???

the ones for the thumb stick click?

they are hard to get at but just desolder the stick and you can acces it
