Quick question. Is there a way to unlock an hdd without eeprom?
My friend has an xbox. It died recently without him having to backup his eeprom. So I was wondering is there a way to unlock it? If so could some one guide me to the right direction?

It could be the hard drive. It may not be compatable.

I've been having issues trying to connect my softmodded wii online. The connection works but I keep getting a message "User agreement message" but I can't agree to it cause it wont take me there or when I do it manually I still get the same message.

So I read a bit and people suggested to update the wii. I know its not safe to update a modded wii using nintendo is there any other way?

For the 360 the dvd drive needs to be flashed not the hdd.
