1  Other Console Discussion / Nintendo Wii / Questions about the new softmod. on: January 04, 2010, 03:27:14 PM
I have a couple of questions about the new way to softmod a Wii (without the need of a game).

Let's say I download the files required and I save it into an SD card. If I mod Wii's for people, is it safe? What are the chances it will get bricked and if it does why?

Also, when the softmod is done, will the homebrew channel automatically be created, and how would I add NES, SNES emulators and games?

It's freat to see the website back up. I hope you guys can help me out with this. I recently lost a lot of my computer files including the Krayzie Ndure Installer v1.1 for Splinter Cell. I looked in the files section but couldn't find it. Would be great if someone can point me to it. Thanks.
4  Xbox / Questions / Re: File Explorer Freezes on: May 12, 2009, 11:01:27 AM
I was transferring some data but yeah.....DVD2Xbox is pretty good. By the way, a couple of months ago I asked about transferring files connecting the computer directly to the xbox and you guys told me about the Cross Over worked......finally I can FTP files. Thanks for that guys.
5  Xbox / Questions / File Explorer Freezes on: May 10, 2009, 04:13:43 PM
Ok, I'm sure other people have this problem as well. I have unleashed X installed on my XBOX and it has File Explorer. Does anyone know why it freezes when I try to transfer files to the XBOX using a DVD-? It works with XBMC's file manager but I can't get it to work with File explorer.
6  Xbox / Questions / Modding an old XBOX. Updating Dashboard. on: May 01, 2009, 10:13:42 AM
Hey guys. I have a question. My uncle wants me to Softmod his XBOX for $30.......yeah. Lol. Anyway, he has the old XBOX the one that don't have the XBOX Live option. I heard you have to update the dashboard to the latest one before softmodding. How do I do this? I heard you can update it with a game that can connect to XBOX live. Would Splinter cell work to update the dashboard?

Would really REALLY appreciate your help.
7  Xbox / Questions / Re: Ethernet Network Card does not recognize XBOX on: March 21, 2009, 04:46:12 PM
But.....whenever I connect the XBOX to other computers, I always connect it directly to it not the router and it works. This is really annoying. Lol.
8  Xbox / Questions / Ethernet Network Card does not recognize XBOX on: March 21, 2009, 04:15:46 PM
Ok guys, I would really appreciate your help on this one.

I modded an Xbox and I want to ftp files to the XBOX. I connect it to the ethernet card on my computer and turn the XBOX on but when I check my computer it says that a cable is unplugged. I connected a router to check the network card and it works fine except with the XBOX. I have tried connecting the xbox on different conmputers and it works except on mine.

Do you guys know of any reason for this happening?
9  Xbox / Questions / Connecting XBOX to Vista (Last Question) on: January 01, 2009, 03:25:26 AM
Lol, yeah I know I have posted a lot of questions but this is the last one. I Promise.

When I connect the XBOX to ftp files using Vista. Vista doesn't recognize it. With the XBOX turned on the Local Area Connection it says that a cable is unplugged. I used my cousins computer which is XP to ftp instead. But I want to use my Vista.

Any help? I would really appreciate it!

11  Xbox / Questions / Re: Help with new new soft modded Xbox. on: December 30, 2008, 10:42:56 AM
I can burn them? I didn't know that. I was trying to FTP XBMC last night but it took a LONG time, so I stopped and thought it was the program that I used.

That's kool. So all I do is burn them and just copy them to the hard drive?
12  Xbox / Questions / Help with new new soft modded Xbox. on: December 29, 2008, 08:30:49 PM
Ok...I just soft modded my Xbox and I don't know what applications I'm gonna need. I want the Xbox to play DVD's, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, N64 Games, and youtube videos (but i'm going to get that when I install XBMC).

Also, how much free memory do I actually have in the Hard Drive since there is like 8 partitions.

I'm sorry guys but i'm a total noob.
13  Xbox / Questions / Re: Problem with USB as memory card. on: December 23, 2008, 12:35:11 PM
Actually here is what happened. I am using an MP3 Player to mod the XBOX. It couldn't get recognized by Action Replay but now it does. My new problem is that when I try to add the save to the XBOX memory card it tells me "Error writing the Save!". Before connecting the MP3 player to the XBOX it would say memory full now there is an Error. Please help!
14  Xbox / Questions / Problem with USB as memory card. on: December 22, 2008, 10:27:14 PM
I have another problem. I created the USB to XBOX cable and when I connect an MP3 player that I have it gets recognized by the XBOX as a memory card. ( I don't get the error message nor the command to format it). I added the files to the MP3 but the XBOX doesn't see them for some strange reason.

Any help?
