My question is what is an bios upgrade? And what exactly does it do? And are bios upgrades only for hardmod xboxs? Thanks in advance Take care Title: Re: Bios Post by: Snafupossum on November 07, 2006, 06:46:27 PM a modchip is like a bios upgrade due to teh fact that it goes it its own bios instead of useing the xbox's bios. as for pc bios's it has to die with makeing the bios more stable, and you upgrade it by flashing it, flashing a bios on a pc should be left to someone who knows what there doing, because of how easy it is to mess up.
