Title: Re: What kind of DVD+R DL disks will 360 read-which brands Post by: Snafupossum on November 04, 2006, 05:00:50 PM inside teh 360 is just a normal dvd drive, they are however coming out with a external hd drive, and as for +R compadability, i dont hink different companies make adifference, jus if its -R +R .. and so in, just like on original xbox, some of the drives have problems reading +R dvd's while it reads -R dvd's perfect

I prefer Verbatim since htey burn and read the best and you can burn at 4x and the game plays perfectly. this is how i do it Title: Re: What kind of DVD+R DL disks will 360 read-which brands Post by: Snafupossum on July 21, 2007, 09:05:35 PM after time, verbatim tend to not work, and you will need to start to mess with different disc that use diff die. but sometimes verbatim can work for a long long time w/o haveing to reajust the laser or start looking for new disc types.

I use whatever I can find cheap at work.... right now I'm using Nexxtech DVD+r DL, I have acquired a few verb's from Wicked, but I can't afford them. verbatims are said to be better on the laser in the 360, and last longer. I am sure snafu has his reasons to disagree, but I just use whatever.... Nexxtech, Memorex, Verbatim....??? Worked the first time and still works!
