Well i never Installed AR on my New PC or WinXP  and found out real fast that WinXp does not like Xbox memcards


OK  if your getting (Action Replay USB device failed cant enumerate)

you can fix this

(Note your card is reading as a Mass Storage Device)

You need usbview.exe
http://www.usbman.com/WebDrivers/USBview/USBVIEW.EXE

Open this up when you've plugged in ur memory card, you need to note down the idVendor and idProduct digits (after the 0x).

Then go to xbreader.inf in C:\Program files\Datel\Action Replay XBOX\Drivers
 Open with Notpad
scroll down to where it says devices, on the first line you'll see %S_DeviceDesc1%=_Install1, USB\VID_???&PID_???.

change it to

%S_DeviceDesc1%=_Install1, USB\VID_???&PID_???.

Vid being Vendor digits, PID being idproducts digits you took from usbview.

Now Save And close


Go to device manager, usb controllers, look for your memory card, update driver with the xbreader.inf,

(dont let Windows get it, choose it yourself) and it should install....

((BIG NOTE))
You Must take Any Old save from Xbox HDD and Put on the Memcard Or
USB device you Made Then Plugin to PC  
(i did not Cache this Befor cuz i had the softmod saved on it from befor)

All Done you can Now copy over your Softmod to your memcard

or simply what ive learned is plugging in the action replay memory card to to the usb action replay adaptor(the one that came with the memory card) and simply restarting ur pc and window's should then detect it     8)
