Quick question. Is there a way to unlock an hdd without eeprom? My friend has an xbox. It died recently without him having to backup his eeprom. So I was wondering is there a way to unlock it? If so could some one guide me to the right direction? Title: Re: How do you unlock hdd without eeprom Post by: Kyla666 (zzk2001) on July 17, 2011, 09:37:10 PM it's easier then you think... just do a hotswape with the IDE soon as the Xbox Microsoft Text shows up after the intro unplug the IDE cable and the Drive will be unlocked, connect to PC on Primary-master and use Xplorer360 to view the HDD and copy over your eeprom.bin
