Title: VGA verses DVI Post by: Coburn on January 26, 2009, 10:17:07 PM Ok, just two weeks ago I got a nVidia GeForce 8500 GT 1GB RAM video card that has 1 VGA, 1 DVI, and 1 TV output. I am using the VGA cable with a 19" Widescreen LCD monitor. The monitor supports DVI. So, what I want to know is: What is the difference in DVI and VGA? Is it a noticeable difference? Would it change my colors so that darks aren't so dark (ive been having that problem)?
