Title: Problem with USB as memory card. Post by: jjv3131 on December 22, 2008, 10:27:14 PM I have another problem. I created the USB to XBOX cable and when I connect an MP3 player that I have it gets recognized by the XBOX as a memory card. ( I don't get the error message nor the command to format it). I added the files to the MP3 but the XBOX doesn't see them for some strange reason.

Title: Re: Problem with USB as memory card. Post by: Art2Fly on December 23, 2008, 10:28:22 AM it sees WMA and it has to be in the right area. I wouldnt try to do that with the M$ dash. softmod and use xbmc. xbmc does see mp3

It couldn't get recognized by Action Replay but now it does. My new problem is that when I try to add the save to the XBOX memory card it tells me "Error writing the Save!". Before connecting the MP3 player to the XBOX it would say memory full now there is an Error. Please help!

Post by: rattmansam on December 25, 2008, 03:27:58 AM NEVER EVER USE A MEMORY STICK OR SUCH!!!!! do not ever use a memory stick or thumbdrive etc. because the m$ dash has major issuses with them thats how the xbox i am currently working on got f'ed up. use straight up xbox mem card they are rather cheap so just go to the gamestore near you and buy a used one i can get them for about $15 new and $5-$7 used.
