Softmod Depot

My younger brother bought a 320Gb HDD.  I made the linux.iso cd, put it in, unhooked my computers hdd, plugged in the new hdd, turned it on, the cd wouldn't boot, the drive just blinked.  So I put my middle brothers linux disk in., booted, created the new drive, did all the steps, locked the drive, put it in the xbox, turned it on.  I got the error 21 red ring. 

So, I took the hdd out, hooked the CPU HDD back up and reburned my younger brothers linux disk.  Then unhooked the HDD, put the linux disk in, hooked up my bro's xbox hdd, ran xboxhdm, everything went fine.  locked it.  Plugged it in, it just goes to the XBOX screen, then says microsoft...  Then resets and does it again and again and again...

So I hooked it back up to the computer, unlocked it, wiped the Fatx partition, then build xbox drive from scratch.  Everything ran fine.  locked it.  Put it in the xbox, it is still just resetting over & over & over & over.

What do I do?

i had that problem
for me it had to do with the dashboard
what are you using?

also it could be a pinched wire in the xbox itself
physically it could cause it, unlikely though
but check anyway

Well right now were just trying to get to the original xbox dashboard to softmod it again.

what i would do is Get the 5960 Dash then place that on the CD with a Empty E:

Empty E: is   E Folder with Two folders in it  UDATA and TDATA
