You would have to get the extension.
Title: Re: 750 GB Post by: drfweega on April 15, 2008, 07:47:24 AM um, you wouldn't. You would have to get the extension. My point exactly, if he wanted his Xbox to grow an ugly tumor than he would have done it already. I'm guessing he's concerned that the Xbox won't support 750GB.I have no clue how large the HDD will go in an Xbox, I've never gone higher than a 320GB before I got bored of Xboxes. Title: Re: 750 GB Post by: SatanX on April 17, 2008, 07:54:26 AM I have a 750GB in mine. Just use XBpartitioner.
Title: Re: 750 GB Post by: SatanX on April 17, 2008, 07:56:35 AM Format the drive with 32k clusters. Sift through the options and it'll split F and G the same size. Mine is filled with only 20 gigs left on the F drive and I've had no problems whatsoever

Title: Re: 750 GB Post by: InsaneTrout on April 19, 2008, 09:59:39 PM i havent seen a IDE terabyte drive although i havent looked actually it wouldn't matter if he got a 1 TB SATA people sell adapters that turn SATA into IDE it comes with a power and data cable adapter for like $7 i think at max the adapters would probably cost is maybe $20 Title: Re: 750 GB Post by: GamezR2EZ on April 20, 2008, 10:05:47 AM yeah i know, but the IDE has less problems and dont need an adapter
i had an adapter in my xbox and i didnt like it... Title: Re: 750 GB Post by: InsaneTrout on April 20, 2008, 11:38:20 AM yeah i know, but the IDE has less problems and dont need an adapter i had an adapter in my xbox and i didnt like it... aaaauh ok Title: Re: 750 GB Post by: SatanX on April 20, 2008, 11:15:27 PM I think with the 32K clusters it would support somewhere over a terabyte but of course, there's no drives that large yet.
I have my entire game, rom, homebrew and app collection backed up on this box and another 320GB one. It's pretty sweet Title: Re: 750 GB Post by: Kingofrandom78 on April 21, 2008, 04:28:29 PM I think with the 32K clusters it would support somewhere over a terabyte but of course, there's no drives that large yet. http://www.hitachigst.com/portal/site/en/menuitem.8027a91c954924ae4bda9f30eac4f0a0/ 1TB Drive. http://www.micronet.com/General/prodList.asp?CatID=119&Cat=Product 1TB 1.5TB and 2TB That ok? Title: Re: 750 GB Post by: GamezR2EZ on April 22, 2008, 10:25:25 AM yachi those arent IDE or SATA, those are external USB 2.0 drives, again not what we were talking about
we know they have terabyte drives, external and internal they may very well have over 1tb drives internal however we havent seen them BECUASE they arent widely available, which is the point i believe SatanX was trying to make |
