Title: Which should I use? Post by: metroplex2k7 on March 21, 2008, 10:15:44 PM I dl'd Auto Installer Deluxe 4.20 and Slayers Evox Auto Installer 2.7 and I need to know a couple things...
1) Which is the better or is it good to have both? 2) As far as programs, I know I want the emulators, the XBMC Dashboard as my main Dashboard (how do I do that?), and the Xbox2DVD and the DVD Video program to play burned DVD-R with or without the remote. The AID4.20 is a 584Mb Image file, How do I burn it? Just straight up with ImgBurn or do I have to do something with it first. Does it get burned on a CD or DVD? Slayers is a 430Mb Image file, so the same question as before. 3) I forgot to check my brothers Dash # before I softmodded his, but he has a 49-something DB, It is softmodded, but I guess I'd feel better if it was upgraded to 5960. Is there a way to do that even though its already softmodded? If so How? Thank you all for your help. Title: Re: Which should I use? I want to know if his dash can be upgraded from 4920 to 5960 even though it has been softmodded already.

Post by: jon182 on March 22, 2008, 05:53:53 AM slayers is designed for hardmods and though iv'e never used it myself iv'e heard that it has a lot of problems with softmods. I found Auto Installer Deluxe really buggy and slow when i used it, it kept crashing and half of the stuff didn't install properly. I would just install everything manually (BTW you don't need dvd dongle free if you have XBMC)
