The greatest beat making program for me was eJAY HipHop software, for of course HipHop, but its really wat your into that matters  ;D

And i dont have to tell you about Atomixmp3 and VirtualDj cause you all ready have them, well at least VirtualDj from what see ;) ;D

And for recording and MIDI interface and that good crap use Cakewalk

besides that i use Guitar Pro (sorry no link, its pay software.....kinda like cakewalk.....)
but yeah, i like those both

My main programs are Reason, Fruity loops and Mixmeister.

Never really like Fruity Loops, but what ever makes music right ;)
Plus have you ever got any cool effects for Virtual DJ cause i could never find any with out paying?

hit fruity loops up it's prolly the easiest to do with a learning level.
when you get into it you can pick up more advanced beats and move on to sampling other sounds into it.

over all I think it's one of the best beat making programs, withotu have a ton of samples..... which I do but mainly for Reason.

I keep Fruity Loops kinda simple, I usually make my beats out of a few different beats I make and end up blending them into something like this.
