I also tried plugging the 20 gig HDD in my PC via sata but the only thing it would do was pick up the drive. I couldn't even get xplorer360 to read it. Edit: Considering they ban for people using custom fans, I can only imagine they would detect that the drive isn't official. Which also brings up the question of whether they're allowed to ban you from live for using third party hardware, such as a hard drive. I figured some douche some where would kick up a stink about it, something about anti-trust or some other stupid thing they usually call them on. I still think it's a dick move though, not to allow third party hardware.
