Softmod Depot

How many of you are down for making a stand alone skin (ex. xTV, Project Mayham III) skin or a skin for the MC360 like the Black Market is booming for. And if we do let make it for Softmod Depot.net and so cool it can hold its own against all the 212 skins!!

its a tough job doing a XBMC
the fact is you have to make it stand above other XBMC skin.
The current best skins are:
*PM3
*xTV
*Vision
*MC360

Xboxmediacenter forum, all coders are planning on a new skin, the ultimate skin.

HAHA. xino a skin isn't a specialist art form, its just some pictures overlaying something.

I don't care if xino is being 'mean' to me because i don't have much respect for him or pretty much anything he says.

Awesome, Snipes Yachi, let me know if you need some help (lol like i could  ;)) and let me know when its DONE!!! ill run it on a Xbox emulator if i have to (thats right i have a modded xbox on my PC, im good like that)

where you make skins for Unleash X and put hot chicks on it (LOL :P)

XBMC is different!
you have to be a good developer, not just adding pics:/

The skin needs to be:
*stylish
*stunning (but not colourful) visuals
*different functions
*awesome effects
and the most of all! don't forget the mirror image/icon effect

lets see if you guys can come up with a good skin!
and please I have seen crappy skins in the past, don't let this skin fall in the same rank:/

I mean:
has he created any themes/skins in the past?
If he hasn't, how will he manage to co-op by making a skin now, when he as no experience in making skins. Sure you might say, he can always learn. But that depends on his knowledge on coding programs.


I my self, categorize my sense of knowledge. Things I don't know, I don't want to experience or learn it, as long as I know it works. Things that fall in my knowledge, I tend to know more about it.
Sure as...
fashion...I am an computer specialist, I study I.T. I know nothing about fashion, if I want to learn it. I will find it difficult.


Me and Yachi are different and we progress strong and weakness wills.
I am good at making websites, editing movies etc.
Yachi is excellent at flash!
If I tried to learn flash, I will fail! and I have used it before, but found it too difficult.

Anyway

as Kratos normally says "do what you will!"
you might be better at designing icons or pictures. than doing the coding bits

heh, I made a big post then decided it was kinda gay. Making skins isn't hard, its just gonna take a good bit a testing and photoshop skills. Me and snipes both have photoshop skills and he has an xbox to test em on :P.

No. They are skins, you can get themes to change what its looks like, eg. carbon fiber for mc360. A skin is the base with all the config and main images, a theme is a different colour or sumtin.

Ughhh Xino MC360 is a skin for the XBMC if you look at your settings you'll clearly see this
