Title: halp cd-r drive stuck in virtual mode! Post by: Art2Fly on September 29, 2007, 08:48:42 AM man i was using the virtual drive so i could play a game without using a cd and then now the cd-r drive doesnt read anything and keeps saying tht i have a cd-r in the drive i dont know what happend and i really need this drive help?

Post by: GamezR2EZ on September 29, 2007, 10:28:55 AM i dont know what program youre using, but you probably have the "Ignore Media Type" box checked, which doesnt allow you to insert a different media (for instance CD-R\RW) and let the computer know this

try getting another app, for Image Mounting on my computer i use Alcohol %120 cause you can rip games with SecuROM protection and play them without a disc (all staw wars use this protection) this way when you install it you can 1. fix youre problem, hopefully 2. play games like you wanted to in the first place but besides getting another app, i dont know how to reverse the process (i just forget the registry it edits) so Get you another app and mess wit hsome settings!. lol Title: Re: halp cd-r drive stuck in virtual mode!
