COD 2 Cyphon Filter Madden NFL For christmas his dad got a 60' big screen (HD Compatible) and we hooked it up. My thoughts? Graphics - Very good, but nothing that jumped out to say this is a next gen console. Sound - Again, sounded good through the stereo (we never had Dolby 5.1) Controllers - I was amazed of the responsivness away from the console. Very nice controllers. (You can shut down your box with your controller) btw, controllers are $70 ea So what blew me away the most? To be honest it was playing HD compatible discs. I watched the trailer for Narnia and it was very clear and awsome. Was that the xbox or the tv? the answer is both. If you are going to invest hundreds of dollars for a next gen 360 you should consider getting a HDTV. Title: Re: games Post by: center_99_99 on March 20, 2006, 01:40:54 PM Stephen, when you hold down the xbox icon on the controller it brings up a menu with 3 options, Cancel, Turn Off controller, or Turn Off Console. It doesn't just automatically shut down.
HDTV is a must for 360 owners. All my friends with Tube TV's say there isn't much difference from the regular xbox. That is until they come over and see it on my 55" Sony LCD. center_99_99 |
