i finally got my xbox and pc to ftp. then today i switched dashboards from unleash to evox and now i can't ftp. it says connection timed out. can anyone help me fix this? ???

go take down the settings from you old dashboard and put them in the new one, they shud all work the same

i did that and still no fix.

Well just go back to the unleash dash it is better any way. But if you want to keep evo then go to the system settings on the evo dash and edit them till it works right

i've tried a whole mess of turtorials its ridiculous. and they all failed. it still says connection failed. connection timmed out. :'(

Then use another dash or go back to the unleash x dash, or maybe its your FTP program. Wat are u using to FTP?

theirs no way i can go back to unleash dash. i tried everything. im using flash fxp

Why cant you go back to unleash x? Well then their should be no problem with the FTP program your using....hummm weird?

How can i show you? All you need to do is reboot the xbox, only do this if you didn't delete the dash though, did you delete any dash files??

ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! dam it......Dude i cant tell you how bad this is, if you deleted you dash files.....well if you did, then do you still have the game exploit saved on your xbox that you used to mod it?

Dam good, ok put the exploit cd in and run the hole install over again, and wat ever you do, do not unplug your xbox over night cause if you do you'll get an error 21 and then you'll need your eeprom.bin to fix the hole xbox, do you have that file saved in your computer

its showing error 21 and i didn't disconect anything

1.dam... hummm well do you have your eeprom.bin file in your computer
2. Try putting in the exploit game (put the game in turn it off, then turn it back on)

i think i messed up my xbox. :-[ i don't have any of that stuff anymore.

SO you dont have the eeprom.bin , and you dont have the game exploit?
Well then it dont hurt to check the exploit game, try it dude any little thing helps

dont u just change the files in the E:\dashboard folder (import the unleash files and overwrite the evoX ones)?

oh my sheeva. idon't know what i did. but i opened up my xbox and dropped  a hammer on it by accident and im all oh man i think i broke it. i turned it on and it had an ip address on it. i can now ftp. yey. and now my xbox can play games on a dvdr. awsome

WTF :o idk how that could happen but i guess long as you can ftp.... well first off if you can ftp then reinstall the dash in the E:\dashborad so you can i think see something...idk thats so weird how the hell can you see an ip if you have no dash in the dashborad folder plus even see an ip........

also, if you haven't already, download and burn a copy of zzk's installer disc

I have a feeling you could have booted from that at the first sign of your problem and you could have fixed it right away.
