hey everyone,
my dad somehow broke the LCD screen on his 650, and hes been lookin like everywhere to get it fixed. i convinced him that i can install it no problem (that took a while..) but he's like "okay, but where are u gonna get the parts from?" so i was hoping that u smart fellows would know where i can order an LCD screen for the 650. my dad says he found a place that sells it for $70 US, but i told him that i know some dudes, that for sure know where to find it for less. any ideas where i can get a screen? honestly any advice would be really appreciated. thanks.

edit: i would check your local craigs list if you have one

its the treo 650 and our provider is rogers. we talked to them and they said that they cant fix it but they sent us to a place that could. that place charges $60 to install the part, and u can buy the part from them for $200.

its like a online fleamarket(sp) for city's you find what you want, you cantact the seller, you either pickup from deller or they ship the thing you bought. its also like sale ads in your local paper.

ooo my bad i did not understand but i get it i think i might find it for 50

its a special lcd screen becuase it has a touch sensor that goes over it so it has to be a lil more durable then the average cell screen.

750 deal? nah he saw a screen for like 70 bucks, but he doesnt unerstand the concept of ebay where the prices go up, not down... anyways, i called around and i found a local place that has the part and installs it all for $100 which i think is really worth it. but he's still skeptical, so i told him that if he doesnt want the "pros" handling his phone, then he can buy the part from the store and let this Sr. Modder work some magic with my torx screw drivers, hehe.
