Xbox 360 Pro Getting Replaced?

According from trusted source Arstechnica Mole, The Xbox 360 Pro console will be replaced by the Elite console.

"Expect the Xbox 360 Pro to disappear in July or August, but you're going to see some solid bundles to get those systems moving off store shelves. The Halo 3/Fable 2 bundle the Mole previously tipped us off to shows that Microsoft is willing to put some good games into the box to get people buying.

So what are we going to do without the Pro systems? Nothing. The Elite units, with the 120GB hard drive, are going to become the Pro-level system after an early September price cut. We'll be on the lookout for another holiday bundle as well, and that should hit around October. What titles will be included? We should be able to break that story as well, but we don't have the information yet."

So apparently, we can expect a Xbox 360 Elite price cut and sooner or later, the Pro consoles are going to dissapear. Is this perhaps because of Microsoft's new Games on Demand Service? It could be because 60GB is just not enough to store all of those games, or because they will release a larger HDD? Well, whatever it is, if you are thinking about buying one of these pro consoles, best wait off untill the elite price cut.

Singer Michael Jackson dies at 50

Paramedics were called to the singer's Beverly Hills home at about midday on Thursday after he stopped breathing.

He was pronounced dead two hours later at the UCLA medical centre. Jackson's brother, Jermaine, said he was believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest.

Jackson, who had a history of health problems, had been due to stage a series of comeback concerts in the UK, beginning on 13 July.

Speaking on behalf of the Jackson family, Jermaine said doctors had tried to resuscitate the star for more than an hour without success.

Concerns were raised last month when four of Jackson's planned comeback concerts were postponed, but organisers insisted the dates had been moved due to the complexity of staging the show.

Musical icon

Jackson began his career as a child in family group The Jackson 5. He then went on to achieve global fame as a solo artist with smash hits such as Billie Jean and Bad. Thriller, released in 1982, is the biggest-selling album of all time, shifting 65m copies, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. He scored seven UK number ones as a solo artist and won a total of 13 Grammy awards. "For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don't have the words," said Quincy Jones, who produced Thriller, Bad and Off The Wall. "He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever. I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him." The singer had been dogged by controversy and money trouble in recent years, becoming a virtual recluse. He was arrested in 2003 on charges of molesting a 14-year-old boy, but was found not guilty following a five-month trial. The star had three children, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince Michael Jackson II.He is survived by his mother, Katherine, father, Joseph and eight siblings - including Janet, Randy, Jermaine and La Toya Jackson. RIP Michael Jackson.

The Death Of Softmod Wii

Is Soft modding on the Wii Going to Die? Some Thank so!

OK so with the New Update 3.5 Out (Korea only right now) they block the TW hack =( sad i know But it was going to happen some day BUT thats not the Worse thing to happen as That could have Some how gotten Bypassed maybe =)

To really Kill off Soft modding on the Wii Is the New system wii's have a Block on the boot1.
Some Users on the Net Think that No modified boot2 will not run on the New Wii's BUT i think that's a lot of Bull =P or at best i am hoping they are wrong.

everyone is saying that there will be No fix or way around it.

Right Now there is only about 10-15% of the Wii's Out there that Are new and with the New Boot1 So you can still Buy a New Wii and hack it with a Softmod Unless your Very Unlucky and get one of them Wii's =/
